Southwest Regional Folk Alliance Hosts One Day Event in Oklahoma City

Southwest Regional Folk Alliance (SWRFA)
invites you to join them for a free one-day event for Oklahoma’s music
community. All involved or wanting to be involved in the music business
are welcome including artists, promoters, booking agents, record label
representatives, radio, media, music publishers, film archivists and
music educators.  The day will provide artist showcases, panel
discussions, and networking events (free lunch!).
The event is Saturday, June 27, 2009 at the Oklahoma City Downtown
Library, 300 Park Ave. from 9:30a.m.  5 p.m.  For more info call

Hosted by Oklahoma singer/songwriter K.C. Clifford and SWRFA Executive
Director, Dalis Allen, the event is free and lunch is provided. Artists
will showcase and this years panel topics include Venues/Booking – What
Venues Want Artists To Know and Media/PR & the Changing Face of Music
Promotion.

SWRFA is part of Folk Alliance International and holds a regional
conference each fall. The region includes Oklahoma, Colorado, New Mexico
and Texas. This year’s conference will be held September 24 – 27, 2009
