Ilene Weiss has written, performed and recorded a bunch of songs over many decades. Some of them have been performed and recorded by other people, too, including OKC’s very own Mary Catherine Reynolds. These days, Ilene often works as a musical goofball, performing in pediatric and geriatric medical environments in the NYC metropolitan area. She spent many summers as clown/musical goofball-in-residence at The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp in Ashford, CT. She is a contributor of young people’s learning songs to the Oxford University Press Global English Language Teaching curricula. Like many songwriters, she is an art school dropout. Ilene is an alumna of the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Writing Workshop and is also a former contestant on the 1980s game show SuperPassword.
