Jose Hernandez & The Black Magic Waters are a local rock talent from Oklahoma City. Springing up sounds from the Muscle Shoals era and soulful ballads that are reminiscent of a warm Oklahoma twilight. Jose Hernandez and his band are know for high energy live shows and songs that can turn from soft confessions of Hernandez’s heart to a gritty exhaustion of his expression. Opening up for regional acts such as Horse Thief, Chase Kerby from The Voice and My Epic and they have had local hype for they’re new single “Hey Man” off their self-titled album released through local media and publications like The Oklahoman, LOOKatOKC and The Middle of Nowhere blog. With hopes high, energized by their single they are excited to expand their sound to new markets and crowds. Be on the look out for they’re self titled release coming in August.
