Where can I purchase tickets?

Tickets can be purchased through TicketStorm prior to the show. This is the only authorized ticket seller for The Blue Door — please avoid third-party sites or resellers, as there are many ticketing scams and we are unable to honor tickets purchased elsewhere.​Tickets are handled electronically; you will not receive a paper ticket. Instead, your name will be added to our Will Call list at the door.​After purchasing: Check your email (including spam/junk folders) for a confirmation of your order. If you don't receive a confirmation email, check your bank or card statement to verify the purchase went through — if it did, your name will still be on the list at the door.

Can I buy tickets at the door?

Yes, tickets are available at the door — CASH ONLY. We do not accept credit or debit cards for door sales, so please come prepared with cash.

What time do the doors open?

The doors open 30 minutes before showtime. Most shows start at 8:00 pm, so doors generally open at 7:30 pm.

Is there a student discount?

In an effort to encourage young musicians and songwriters to visit The Blue Door and learn from master players and writers, we offer a discount for high school students with a valid student ID, for tickets purchased at the door.

Is there an age limit to attend The Blue Door?

There is no age limit to attend Blue Door shows, and we occasionally host shows specifically for children. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Is seating reserved or general admission?

Seating is general admission and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors open 30 minutes before showtime, so arriving early is recommended for the best seats.

Free parking is available in the lot South of The Blue Door. Street parking is also available around the venue, but please be respectful of our neighbors when choosing your spot.

Does The Blue Door serve food?

The Blue Door does not serve food. Patrons may bring snacks to enjoy during the show, provided it does not negatively impact the show.

Does The Blue Door serve beverages?

No. The Blue Door is a BYOB establishment — wine, beer, and non-alcoholic drinks only. Please, no mixed drinks or large coolers.

All ticket sales are final. We are unable to offer refunds or exchanges, except in the case of a cancelled show.

What happens if a show is cancelled or rescheduled?

If a show is cancelled or rescheduled, ticket holders will be notified via email and through our website and social media. Tickets for cancelled shows will be refunded automatically; tickets for rescheduled shows will remain valid for the new date unless you request a refund.
